I just want to thank all of you who came out to support Mardi Gras in May last night!  The class of 2013 did an awesome job and even pulled some extra surprises for the Homeless Coalition and us!  I’m blessed to live in this community and have all of you as friends!- john

Crossroads is a private non-profit organization in Florida which has been in the business of helping kids for over thirty years.   In 2012 Crossroads moved from working with the Department of Juvenile Justice to working with foster boys.   Many of our foster boys have similar issues as the juvenile justice boys we’ve so successfully helped in the past.  In fact many of the foster boys we are home to have had prior entanglements with the Department of Juvenile Justice.   With our experienced staff and successful program we are guiding these boys to bright futures they might never have discovered on the path they were following before they reached Crossroads.

‘ Crossing Guards’ is the name we’ve given to the many community volunteers who help our boys.   These generous people help with their time and treasure to support our boys and facilities with;

advocacy
tutoring and mentoring
fundraising
celebrating achievements and birthdays
role models
preparing our boys for ‘Crossing Over’ to adult life after age 18
